A middie on the 1959 University of Maryland National Championship team, Richie has been one of the nation’s top coaches for almost three decades. From 1963-65 he coached Manhasset High School to a 67-5 record, then helped Elmont High School compile a 29-3 record from 1967-68. From Elmont he travelled to Cornell University, where he is currently the Head Coach, to win the first ever NCAA Championship in 1971. While at Cornell he’s compiled a 216-60 record. Moran is currently the president of the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA).
