Tom Acee is one of those absolutely indispensable friends of lacrosse. He’s been the head coach of varsity lacrosse at Henninger High School in Syracuse for the past eighteen years and has compiled a glittering record of 214 wins and 113 losses.

Acee’s record shows that his Henninger teams have won five independent league championships, two Section III championships and one New York State title.

He’s coached a trio of All-Americans and has been a staunch promoter of lacrosse in Central New York.

He is a 1968 graduate of Cortland State and has taught Social Studies at Eastwood Junior High and Henninger for twenty-nine years. He is married and has three  children.
