As a native of Jordan, NY, Jeremy Hollenbeck played varsity lacrosse under Coach Rice and Coach Young in 1989 and 1990. In his senior season, Jeremy received All-League and All-Section III honors was Team Captain, and was selected as the team’s Offensive MVP. Hollenbeck was later inducted into the Jordan-Elbridge Athletic Hall of Fame in 2001. 

Following his graduation from Jordan-Elbridge, Jeremy attended Nazareth College where he played from 1991-1994 under Head Coach Scott Nelson. In his sophomore year, he scored three goals in the NCAA semifinal overtime defeat of Hobart and had three goals in the NCAA Championship game against Roanoke to help Nazareth win its first Division III National Title. In 1993 and 1994, Hollenbeck served as team captain and earned 2nd Team All-American Honors as a Junior, and 1st Team All-American Honors as a senior while helping the team to NCAA tournament semifinal appearances. He was also the recipient of the Team’s Coach’s Award in 1993, Offensive MVP in 1994, and competed in the North-South Senior All-Star Game in 1994. Hollenbeck was inducted into the Nazareth Sports Hall of Fame as a member of the 1992 National Championship Team in 2002 and as a player in 2003. 

As a new franchise to the Major Indoor Lacrosse League, the Rochester Knighthawks picked Jeremy in the 4th round of the 1995 draft where he played for the duration of his 10-year professional career under Head Coaches Barry Powless and Paul Day. As a versatile, two-way player, Hollenbeck compiled 64 goals, 118 assists, and 486 ground balls in 111 games and helped the Knighthawks win their first MILL World Championship in 1997. Jeremy was later inducted into the Rochester Knighthawks Hall of Fame in 2011. 

Alongside playing in the MILL, Hollenbeck also played four seasons of Box Lacrosse in the Ontario Lacrosse Association from 1996-1999. In 1996, Jeremy played for the Kahnawake Mohawks earning Silver in the President’s Cup Canadian National Championship. From 1997-1999, Hollenbeck played for the Akwesasne Thunder under coaches Ernie Mitchell, Alex Roundpoint, Dave White, and Bruce Roundpoint. As a member of the Akwesasne Thunder President’s Cup Canadian National Championship Team in 1997, Hollenbeck received the team’s Best Two-Way Player Award and Coach’s Award. 

Toward the end of his career, Jeremy played with the Rochester Rattlers in the Major Lacrosse League’s inaugural 2001 season. In 2003, he then played for Team USA which earned Bronze during the first ever World Indoor Lacrosse Championships. 

In 2009, Jeremy began coaching in the Baldwinsville Youth Lacrosse program for both boys and girls. He continued by coaching Baldwinsville Girls Club Lacrosse teams from 2013-2016 and Baldwinsville Boys Club Lacrosse Teams from 2013-2021 for players in the 2021-2023 graduation classes. 

Jeremy resides in Baldwinsville with his wife, Katrina. They have triplets, Emma, Grace, and Ryan, who were all members of the 2022 Baldwinsville Boys and Girls Lacrosse State Championship Teams. Emma and Grace attend Saint Bonaventure University where they play lacrosse and Ryan attends and plays lacrosse at Onondaga Community College.
