Jake Curran

The game of Lacrosse has taken Jake Curran to every corner of the globe, and his officiating skills have earned the Syracuse attorney World Class status.
Jake attended the University of Florida and received his Law degree from Syracuse University in 1960. He has been active in officiating soccer, hockey and lacrosse on scholastic, club and collegiate levels. For ten years he played, coached and served as President of the Syracuse Lacrosse Club. Since 1964 he has officiated approximately fifty games per year from high school to NCAA Division 1 Playoffs.
In 1974, Jake officiated the World Senior Championship Series in Australia. In 1976 and 1981 he worked the Canadian Championship Games in Toronto and Vancouver. 1978 found him in England for the World Senior Championships. Each year he has traveled thousands of miles to provide his expertise to significant lacrosse contests.
Closer to home, Jake has been an officer and administrator in high school and collegiate lacrosse associations for 28 years. He is a Charter Member and former counsel for our Upstate New York Chapter of the Lacrosse Foundation and is a member of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
