An All-American attackman for Hobart College in ’41 and ’42, Fitch teamed with fellow Hall of Famer Bill Dobbin and Dick Ferris to form one of the most feared attack units in lacrosse history. A Geneva (NY) native, Herb was an all around athlete in college, playing football, basketball and lacrosse.
