From Fayetteville Roots to Lacrosse Excellence and Entrepreneurship
A Standout Athlete at Fayetteville-Manlius
At Fayetteville-Manlius High School, Rinaldi distinguished himself as a multi-sport athlete, competing in football, basketball, and lacrosse. His leadership and performance on the lacrosse field earned him recognition as Team Captain and First Team All-American during his senior year in 1984. Even at a young age, Rinaldi demonstrated the ability to lead by example and elevate those around him.
Collegiate Lacrosse Career at Rutgers University
Rinaldi continued his lacrosse career at Rutgers University, where he cemented his reputation as an elite collegiate athlete. His achievements earned him multiple All-American honors:
- 1988 – 3rd Team All-American
- 1989 – 3rd Team All-American

Among his proudest accomplishments were being named Team Captain for both the 1989 and 1990 seasons. In 1990, Rinaldi also earned national recognition when he was selected as an alternate for the World Games, a testament to his skill, dedication, and impact on the sport.
Entrepreneurial Drive and Leadership
Beyond athletics, Rinaldi is a serial entrepreneur who values teamwork and relationships as much as success. He takes pride in the people who work alongside him and believes strong teams are built on trust, respect, and shared purpose. His entrepreneurial journey reflects the same discipline and commitment that defined his athletic career.
Family, Gratitude, and Legacy
While his professional and athletic accomplishments are significant, Rinaldi measures success most meaningfully through family. He considers his greatest source of pride to be his son. Family remains at the center of everything he does.
Greg Rinaldi is deeply honored to receive this award and grateful for the opportunity to share the moment with his friends and family, whose support has been instrumental throughout his journey.
