Todd Curry

It’s a classic story of success in lacrosse that Todd Curry’s career has followed. From West Genny to S.U. to Team USA to Club success to the pros. Even the classics are enjoyable, so let’s take a closer look.

Way back in the early ’80s, Todd’s journey to stardom began at West Genesee High School where he earned a starting role for three years on three State Championship teams. In 1983, Todd earned All-American honors and was named team captain on one of Mike Messere’s best-ever squads.

Next stop, Syracuse University. Four more years as a starter, three as an All-American – first-team AA his junior and senior years. Midfielder of the year in 1987 and two-time team captain his junior and senior seasons.

In 1986 and again in 1994 Todd was on the Gold Medalist World Championship teams and in 1990 he was an alternate.

For eleven years following graduation from S.U. where he made Dean’s List three out of four years, he played for the Mount Washington Lacrosse Club and participated on three national club championship teams. He was All-Club for of those years.

Todd played for eight seasons with the Philadelphia Wings and the Baltimore Thunder in the Major Indoor Lacrosse League. He takes his rightful place in the Hall of Fame, Class of 2002.
