Robert S. Durland played lacrosse at Syracuse University in 1948 and 1949. He was an official and assignor of officials at both the college and high school level from 1959 to 1985. In 1986 he was a Technical Supervisor to the World Games held in Toronto. He is being inducted to the Hall of Fame as a Contributor to the game of Lacrosse.
